The SBIF Asha Scholarship Program 2024 is one of the largest scholarships in India, launched by SBI Foundation under the education vertical — Integrated Learning Mission (ILM). Students from Class 6 to 12 and those pursuing undergraduate and postgraduate courses are eligible for this scholarship who are studying in a top 100 NIRF ranked university/college or IITs, Or MBA course from IIMA. All the qualified students will be entitled to receive scholarships up to INR 7.5 Lac each facilitating their academic exposure.

Applicants submit the following documents:
- Marksheet from the previous academic year.
- Government-issued identity proof (Aadhaar card).
- Current year fee receipt.
- Proof of current year admission

Eligibility of SBIF Asha Scholarship Program 2024
Applicants must meet the following criteria:
- Only Indian Nationals are eligible to apply for the programme and it is available to both men and women.
- Half of the slots are guaranteed for female applicants.
- SC/ST category- of students from SC and ST categories prefered which means that the upper class like general gets little Opportunity.
- Similarly students who are in class 6 to 12, Bachelor’s courses, engineering courses and Master programme & will/ have been studying at IITs/IIMs.
- Must have received at least 75% of the possible points during the previous school year.
- Students whose family income does not exceed 3,00,000 p.a will appear in the first place.
- Annual family income of applicants must not be over 6,00,000.
- Students studying in any of the very bonafide colleges or universities (listed within Top 100 Institutes by NIRF) and pursuing an undergraduate/post-graduate course from Indian Universities/Institutes.
- Applicants must be enrolled in an undergraduate program at the Indian Institute of Technology (IIT) in any year.
- Candidates pursuing MBA/PGDM courses, in any year from IIMs located anywhere in India are eligible for this scholarship.

Awards:
- Classes 6th to 12th : INR 15,000 each
NOTE:
- 80% of Admission Slots Held by Females
- SC and ST category students will be given preference.
SBIF Asha Scholarship Program for Undergraduate Students
Awards
- Undergraduate Students : Up to INR 50,000
NOTE:
- Top 100 National Institutional Ranking Framework (NIRF) List for Universities and the top in NIRF List of Colleges will be from those Premier Institutes Plus Rs300 Crores annually -2023 & 2024 by Ministry of education, Government Of India).
- It will also cover all National Institutes of Technology (NITs). Students with a family income upto 3,00,000 per annum will be given preference.
- 50% of the slots are designated to Female Candidates.
- Students of the Scheduled Castes (SC) and ST categories will get priority.
SBIF Asha Scholarship Program for IIM Students
Awards:
- IIMs MBA Students : Up to INR 7,50,000
NOTE:
- Students from the families with annual income up to INR 3,00.000 will be given preference in selection of candidates for awarding scholarship.
- 50% of the slots go to female applicants.
- Selection will be done on the preferred basis of SC/ST students.
Renewal of the SBIF Asha Scholarship Program
This SBI Scholarship is given every year to the students who are studying in class 6th, 7th,8 th,9ths10,last12,Candidates of Research Pack-A and B. For the next session, students can apply for re-scholarship given that they are in compliance with the criteria. This is maintained so the candidates each year will get the grant as per actual need, that rounds out a legitimate distribution and fair share of funds.
