NSP Technical Education Scholarship Scheme for Degree Level – Eligibility Criteria
The candidates who are applying for the technical education scholarship scheme by NSP must check them carefully and should meet all conditions or process.
- These scholarships are offered for courses of Engineering, Technology, Architecture and any other equivalent course approved by the All India Council For Technical Education (AICTE) at Post Graduate or Degree level.
- Students having a monthly income of their parents or guardian from all sources ₹1500(model figure) has done the provisions under poverty-cum-brilliance scholarship only.
- Guardian’s income will be taken into account in case the parents of scholar are deceased/not alive.

- But the applicants should have got not less than 60% marks in the qualifying examination, except SC and ST students.
Those scholarships will be provided primarily to students who are financially poor but academically strong (poverty-cum-brilliance) in the first instance. After this list has dried up, the rest of the scholarships will only be awarded for those with strong academic performance. This scholarship is only available to Himachal Pradesh resident students and children of Himachal Pradesh Govt.
Application Process NSP Technical Education Scholarship Scheme for Degree Level
- Go to the NSP official website- https://scholarships.gov.in/ then click the “Students” tab.
- Simply click the “Apply for Scholarship” button after that.
- If you are a first time visitor, Click on Register Yourself.
- A popup shows up like this “You are NOW being redirected to an external site. Do you want to continue?”. Click on “Continue”.
- Read the instructions given in column at left, and click on checkbox available at bottom of page “I have read and understood the guidelines for One Time Registration”
- Enter your mobile number which will receive the OTP and click on next.
- Your registration process will be completed after going through the eKYC process.

- You will get an OTP in your register mobile number enter that and int “login”
- Log in and provide the following details: Current Institution Contact Bank Certificate.
- More like a draft You can save your form and go back to edit, update or complete it. At the end of this click on Print Online Application Form and take a print out, by signing it submit to your respective institution along with Scheme specific document(s) according to the schedule.
- Once your online application form is submitted successfully, it gets automatically forwarded to the institution for verification.
- You can check your online application status at any time using the NSP website and track it according to this.
NSP Technical Education Scholarship Scheme for Degree Level – Award
Total Scholarships: There will be total Scholarships 175 for Postgraduate and degree level Programmes.
- Diploma Scholarships: Another 75 scholarships will be offered for diploma courses as well.
- Allocation for SC and ST Students: 100% scholarships will be allocated for SC and ST applicants in Post Graduation & Degree Level.
- Scholarship Amounts for Postgraduate, Degree Courses and Diploma Courses:
- General Category Students: ₹200 per month
- SC and ST Category Students: ₹400 per month
- General, SC, and ST: ₹100 monthly

Yes, Income of student should not be more than 2.50 lakhs per year in Degree level for NSP Technical Education Scholarship Scheme (Degree Level):
- Monthly Income Limit: That the monthly income of his / her parents or guardians shall not exceed ₹1,500 per month from all sources. This is one of the categories under the “poverty cum brilliance” scholarship.
- Annual Income Limit: Moreover, for general category candidates the maximum annual income of their parents or guardian must be ₹18K annually.
