The candidates who are applying for the technical education scholarship scheme by NSP must check them carefully and should meet all conditions or process.

  • But the applicants should have got not less than 60% marks in the qualifying examination, except SC and ST students.

Those scholarships will be provided primarily to students who are financially poor but academically strong (poverty-cum-brilliance) in the first instance. After this list has dried up, the rest of the scholarships will only be awarded for those with strong academic performance. This scholarship is only available to Himachal Pradesh resident students and children of Himachal Pradesh Govt.

  • Go to the NSP official website- https://scholarships.gov.in/ then click the “Students” tab.
  • Simply click the “Apply for Scholarship” button after that.

Total Scholarships: There will be total Scholarships 175 for Postgraduate and degree level Programmes.

  • Diploma Scholarships: Another 75 scholarships will be offered for diploma courses as well.
  • Allocation for SC and ST Students: 100% scholarships will be allocated for SC and ST applicants in Post Graduation & Degree Level.
  • Scholarship Amounts for Postgraduate, Degree Courses and Diploma Courses:
  • General Category Students: ₹200 per month
  • SC and ST Category Students: ₹400 per month

Yes, Income of student should not be more than 2.50 lakhs per year in Degree level for NSP Technical Education Scholarship Scheme (Degree Level):

  • Monthly Income Limit: That the monthly income of his / her parents or guardians shall not exceed ₹1,500 per month from all sources. This is one of the categories under the “poverty cum brilliance” scholarship.
  • Annual Income Limit: Moreover, for general category candidates the maximum annual income of their parents or guardian must be ₹18K annually.
