There are currently 8 active scholarship schemes running under the Directorate of Tea Tribes and Adivasi Welfare. The SIRISH scholarship portal is the state government initiative to promote scholarship schemes for Tea Tribes and Adivasi communities in the state. Candidates can apply for different scholarships according to their category in this SIRISH Scholarship portal where they have to check the deadline to submit the TTWD SIRISH Scholarship application form accordingly. Currently, the authority provides a total 8 scholarship schemes including

1. Pre-Matric Scholarship
2. Post matric Scholarship
3. Simon Sing Horo Special Post-Matric Scholarship
4. Financial Assistance for Higher Studies
5. Financial Assistance for ANM/GNM/Technical Courses
6. Coaching for Higher Studies
7. Grants to Women SHGs
8. Swahid Dayal Das Panika Swaniyojan Achoni

It will provide financial assistance to the needy children in the state who belong to the Tribal community in the state so they can get higher education and increase their status and way of living accordingly. 

SIRISH Scholarship Important Dates 

TTWD SIRISH Scholarship Eligibility 2024

• Only citizens of India who are currently resident in the Assam state are eligible to apply for this scholarship scheme
• The candidate needs to be a part of the Tea tribe and Adivasi community in the state
• The annual family income of the student should be less than 5 lakh rupees
• It is important to get admission in your class for the session of 2024 and 25 to be eligible for receiving the SIRISH Scholarship 2024-25.

SIRISH Scholarship Required Documents

Candidates are required to upload the following documents through online mode While submitting the application form. so you should prepare the PDF of the following documents on your device:

• Recent passport size photograph 
• Aadhar card of the candidate
• State domicile certificate
• Your latest educational certificate
• Currently studying class or course document such as admission letter
• Fees structure of the course
• Annual income certificate of the family
• Bank passbook first page photocopy of the candidate only
• Candidates are required to upload the category certificate

SIRISH Scholarship Amount 

The amount of the SIRISH scholarship 2024-25 will depend upon the course of the student and scholarship type. So you need to check the fee structure in the college of your course before applying for the scholarship scheme. However, if candidates are applying under “COACHING FOR HIGHER STUDIES” In this game then they will get 90% of the payment from this scholarship and 10% of the coaching fees have to be paid by the candidate themselves. Candidates will get the SIRISH Scholarship 2024-25 payment from 2500 to 8200 for different courses.

• So you will reach on the new page where have to click on the link of login and select the registration under this option

• Now you will be asked to upload your mobile number and you will receive OTP for verification so can create the user id and password for login
• Now you have to enter the above details to login in the SIRISH Scholarship portal and click on the specific scholarship scheme according to the category.
• After that you have to provide all the basic information in the SIRISH Scholarship application form and upload documents in the sequence

Once you provide all the details you have to click on the submit link so your application form will be successfully submitted and you will receive the acknowledgement number on your email id and mobile number.
