Objective of the Agents of Change Youth Fellowship
This fellowship is organized by the Wilson Centre’s Middle East Program and Environmental Change and Security Program. Its main objective is to empower emerging young leaders to find solutions to the most pressing issues of climate and security.For 2025, the main focus of this fellowship is on water scarcity.

Program Structure
Virtual Seminar Series:
- Water Issues in MENA: Challenges and Solutions for Water Management in the Region.
- Technical Policy Writing: Writing effective and professional policy.
- Storytelling Skills: The art of communicating effectively through storytelling.
Capstone Projects:
- Writing a 3,000-word research paper on water problems in the MENA region and their solutions.
- At the end of the year, the paper will be submitted individually.
Publications:
- All fellows’ papers will be published as a collective book.
Eligibility Criteria
You can apply for this fellowship only if:
- Age: You are not more than 35 years of age at the time of application.
- Education: You have a bachelor’s degree with 3 years of experience, or a master’s degree.
- Interest: Have a keen interest in climate change, water security, and peace.
- Location: People from all over the world can apply.
- Internet access: A stable internet connection is required to participate in virtual seminars.
