OPSC Assistant Chemist Exam Date 2024
The OPSC Assistant Chemist Exam Date 2024 for the release of the AEE Civil admit card 2024 has also been announced by the Commission. On December 3, 2024, candidates can download their OPSC Assistant Chemist admit card by visiting the official website.
The exam will take place at a number of exam centers in the regions of Balasore, Berhampur, Bhubaneshwar, Cuttack, and Sambalpur on December 8 from 10:00 am to 11.30 am. The goal of the hiring campaign is to fill 63 AEE (Civil) positions. The preliminary, main, and viva-voce exams will determine which applicants make the short list.

Exam Patterns & Selection Process
- Both the written exam and the viva-voce test will be used to choose applicants for the Assistant Chemist positions.
- Two (02) papers, Paper I (Organic & Analytical Chemistry) and Paper II (Physical & Inorganic Chemistry), each worth 100 marks, will make up the written exam.
- There will be 100 questions on each paper, each Multiple-Choice Question (MCQ) will be for one marks.
- For each paper, the exam will take one and a half hours.
- One-fourth of the marks assigned to a given question on both papers will be deducted for each incorrect answer or response.
- The Viva Voce test will have a total score of 25 points.
- The Commission will create a list of qualified applicants for appointment based on their merit, subject to reservation for various categories, based on the results of the competitive examination (written and viva voce tests).
