The Human Resource Development group of CSIR invites eligible individuals participate in paid internship of SRF and RA annually according to their eligibility. CSIR- HRDG SRF & RA Stipend
The authority will provide monthly salary which is also known as stipend to the eligible applicants for senior research fellowship program. The fellowship will be conducted according to the program or research where individual is currently participating. However Maximum 2 years Fellowship can be done by the applicant in this program.
If you are applying for RESEARCH ASSOCIATESHIPS Then you will get complete stipend of 58000 rupees. At the nation stage Individuals will get 1 year tenure in this program and It can be increased for maximum 3 years according to the performance of the applicant,
Apart from above stipends authority will also provide contingent grant of a maximum of Rs. 20,000/-p.a. To each applicant.

- Indian students are eligible to apply for this SRF and RA Fellowship program
- There is no minimum age criteria but if you are applying for SRF then you should not apply after crossing the age of 32. However individuals applying for RA will able to apply till the age of 35. Apart from this 5 year relaxation in the age will be given to SC ST and PWD candidates and 3 year relaxation will be provided to all female applicants.
- Candidates must hold a PhD or equivalent in science, engineering, or medical disciplines. Student pursuing Masters program are also eligible to apply in SRF and RA programs.
- However they should also have one publication in SCI Journal and should have completed at least three years of research experience as on the last date of application, evidenced from fellowship/associateship or from date of registration for Ph.D
- The fellowship program is full time program by you need to work for office hours so already employed applicants are not eligible to apply in this SRF and RA Fellowship program, but if you are already doing job and want to apply for this program then you should submit the Undertaking that you will resign your job after getting selected in this program.

Candidates are required to check the following documents as these all are important to upload on the official website during submitting the application form:
- Photograph of the candidate which should be less than 150 KB and follow the 130×160 to 260×320 Specification
- Signature of the candidate in JPEG or PNG format which should follow 90X25 to 225×100 specification and should be under 150 KB.
- 10th class marksheet
- Aadhar card of the applicant
- Combined document: Qualifying degree + grade to % conversion certificate, if any + PhD registration / submission/ award proof
- Category certificate of SC ST and PWD (if applicable)
- If you have experience then should upload experience certificate or employment certificate according to your condition
