Social security administration release SSDI payment on Wednesday where individuals are able to get their payment on second Wednesday, 3rd Wednesday and 4th Wednesday of a month. Since the second Wednesday is falling on 11th December, so SSDI payment will start from 11.
- 11 December 2024: Individuals who born between 1 to 10 of a month will get their payment of SSDI on the second Wednesday on 11th December 2024.
- 18 December 2024: After that authority will release the payment for those who born between 11 to 20 of a month. These citizens will get their payment on third Wednesday which is falling on 18th December.
- 24 December 2024: According to the schedule, authority will release the last installment of December month on 24 December 2024 which will be provided to those who born after 21 of a month. However the fourth Wednesday is falling on 25 December, but as the country is going to celebrate Christmas holiday on 25 so beneficiaries will get their payment earlier on 24 December accordingly.
Apart from this individuals who have applied for SSDI payments before 1997 will get their payment on 3rd December 2024 accordingly.

How long you have to wait?
Most of the beneficiaries receive their payment on the scheduled date in bank account directly, but if you are not getting your payment on the scheduled date then you should not worry about it. Social security administration suggests to wait for at least three business days to get your payment in bank.
There are many reasons which may interrupt your payment including update your details on the portal, Bank portal server, holidays in the bank and other delays.
