Austria’s Agency for Education and Internationalisation- OeAD is Offering multiple scholarships under Ernst Mach Grant 2025 Program. International students are also eligible to apply in this program through online mode on the official website of the authority. The application procedure has started from October 2024 and the deadline to submit application form is 1st February 2025. Candidates who want to pursue Education in research work in different fields can apply for the program. The selected applicant will get opportunity to work in the Austria in research work for 1 to 9 month duration.

The authority is inviting candidates to engage in a research work in universities in Austria where they can work research work related to the following fields.
- Natural Sciences
- Technical Sciences
- Human Medicine, Health Sciences
- Agricultural Sciences

Benefits of the scholarship
The program is offering scholarship to candidates for the following purposes where they can get monthly financial assistance accordingly:
- Monthly scholarship: Eligible applicant will get a monthly scholarship of 1,300 Euro. Which is fixed for all the candidates belongs to any research work. It will be provided until you complete your research work however the maximum duration of the scholarship is 9 months.
- Additionally, applicants will get a monthly payment of 330 Euro to 800 Euro to Pay the rent of the house where they will live until complete the duration of the research.
- 24 Euro will be provided each month as administrative fee
- The scholarship authority will provide medical insurance to the candidate where they will pay a monthly insurance amount of 55 Euro to 200 Euro according to the condition of the applicant including health status of the applicant, age of the candidate, course of the candidate etc.
- Apart from these financial assistance, beneficiaries we also get travel allowance from the government for up to 1,200 Euro. However you will not get the fixed amount of 1,200 Euro but have to provide the invoice of the tickets so they will accommodate the value of the ticket accordingly.
- Candidates are not required to pay tuition fees during the scholarship period which is also a part of this program.
Eligibility to apply in Ernst Mach Grant
- The application is open for all the candidates from any country across the world
- There is no minimum age criteria but the maximum age of the applicant should not be more than 35 years old.
- The applicant should be very good in English language or German language
- The application should complete the post graduation and pursuing the phd or completed the phd Can apply for this program.
- Candidates are required to complete their Academics of the above courses at universities across the world except universities in Austria.
- Apar from this candidate who are studying in Austria or working in Austria for last 6 months are not eligible to apply for the program

- Now you will see the scholarship details on the screen where you have to click on the apply online link according to the above image: Apply Online
- Now you will reach on the new page where you have to create your registration and provide your name, email id and other details to create scholarship user id and password and after that login on the dashboard
- Candidates are required to provide all the important details in the application form and upload relevant documents accordingly
Once you submit your details you will get notification in your email and further information of the selection procedure will be send at your email id accordingly
Selection Procedure
Authority will select the desired candidate according to their information and details available in the application form. So it is very important to design and write your details very carefully as it is the only way to represent yourself in the examination board so they will firstly review your application and after that will evaluate the plausibility of the candidates.
After that expert will evaluate your application and details and will finally prepare list of the candidates and send it to the The Federal Ministry of Education, Science and Research (BMBWF).
