AICTE Saksham Scholarship 2025: National scholarship portal is open for differently abled students ( PWD) to apply in AICTE Saksham scholarship 2024-25. Eligible students will get financial assistance to complete their education from the All India Council for Technical Education- AICTE. AICTE Saksham scholarship 2024-25

Saksham scholarship is a special scholarship program in India which is running by All India Council for Technical Education. The scholarship helps person with disability students who are pursuing technical education after completing 12th class. Eligible students can get a fixed scholarship amount of 50000 annually. So they can use the amount for all educational purposes including paying the tuition fees, hostel fees, mess fees, purchasing special equipments for PWD students, books etc. The scholarship can be submitted through National scholarship portal where candidates can submit the application before the deadline of 15 December 2024. As the deadline is very near, so candidates are required to apply as soon as possible after checking the eligibility criteria.

Who can apply in Saksham scholarship

• Indian students are eligible to apply in Saksham scholarship
• The individual should study a technical course in the college or Institute affiliated with AICTE.
• Disabled citizens who have more than 40% disability are eligible to apply in Saksham scholarship of AICTE in 2024 and 25.
• Students who are pursuing graduation of 3 or 4 years are eligible to apply in the program where they can apply in their first year of the course or the second year.
• The annual income of the family should be less than 800000 INR.
• It is important to qualify annually and promote in the next year through passing the examination to claim the renewal of the scholarship for next year.
• If the candidate is already getting any fund or scholarship from private sources or government sources then they will not eligible to apply in the program.

Important documents 

Candidates are required to prepare soft copy ( PDF file) of the following documents which will be uploaded at the time of submit in the application form on the portal:

• Recent passport size photograph
• 10th and 12th marksheet of the candidate
• 1st year or 2nd year admission certificate in college or Institute
• Fees structure of the course
• Income certificate of the family head.
• Aadhar card of the student
• Bank passbook of the student
• Disability certificate
• Category certificate of  SC ST, OBC, EWS etc ( if required)

Application procedure 

Application procedure follows 3 steps including one time registration, submitting application form and upload and documents. Here are the detailed instructions to complete your application before the deadline of 15 December 2024

One time registration

Candidates are required to complete one time registration on national scholarship portal by following this procedure:

• Visit to the official website of NSP or you can click on this link to visit directly https://scholarships.gov.in/ 

• Now you have to click on the student section in this page

• Now candidates will reach on the new page where they have to click on the OTR if they are using the portal for first time and after that read all the instructions
• Provide mobile number in other important details such as Aadhar details for verification and complete it to get user id and password

Fill application form 

Once you create user id and password you can login on the dashboard and after that have to search the AICTE under the department section where you will find the Saksham scholarship application link

Now you need to provide your all the details in the application form including educational background, financial background, admission details, fees structure etc.

Upload documents 

The last step is to upload your documents in this portal where you need to Carry your PDF of above documents and and upload one by one in the dashboard

Once you complete the application you will get the acknowledgement receipt on your register mobile number and you can use it to check the status of the application accordingly.

Authority will verify your application head Institute level and DNO/SNO/MNO level which will complete till 15 January 2025 and after that the fund of the program will be released in bank account directly.
