CBSE Board Exam 2025 Syllabus Latest News: CBSE is ready to conduct board exams in 2025. Students are still preparing for the exam and worry about their upcoming examination activities including practical examinations, pre board exam and CBSE board exam 2025. Recently CBSE has participated in bridge in the gap principal summit in Indore where the Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) has announced important changes for the Class 10 and 12 board exams 2025. At a recent summit, officials shared that the syllabus will be reduced by 15% to lessen the academic pressure on students. Additionally, there will be a greater emphasis on internal assessments, meaning that students’ performance in classwork and projects will count more towards their final grades. This approach aims to create a more balanced evaluation system, helping students to focus on understanding the material rather than just preparing for exams. Overall, these changes are designed to make the learning experience more manageable and supportive for students.

CBSE Board Exam 2025 Syllabus 15% Reduced

CBSE is working to re create new books of CBSE for class 1 to class 12th. According to the announcement, CBSE is reducing approximately 15% syllabus from the recent available books. So students will study with more focus on specific topics. CBSE has pointed that students are facing stress due to extra burden on the syllabus. so they are not able to focus on their study but try to complete the CBSE Board Exam syllabus only. So reducing the 2025 CBSE Board Exam Syllabus will encourage students to study without burden complete their academic goals.

More focus on internal assessment 

Most of the students are good in academic and overall participation in the classroom throughout the year, but achieve less marks in the written examination, so reduce the performance of the student in the marksheet. Now CBSE is focusing to strength internal assessment in schools. 40% of the marks will be evaluated according to the internal assessment marks, and rest 60% marks will be evaluated according to performance in written examination. So now students are more flexible to participate in school activities so it will focus on overall and comprehensive evaluation of the student.

CBSE Board Open Book Examination 

CBSE has been discussing open book examinations for many years, especially after preparing the new education policy. Open book examination is specific activity where candidates can search the answer in books and other sources which allow them to explore more and write the creative answer accordingly. Currently CBSE is discussing to implement an open book examination, but board students are not likely to enter to do open exam in this session. 

CBSE Board Exam-First and Second Term Exam 

Currently CBSE is conducting annual examinations of the candidates, However the first term exams are conducted by the school authority has an internal assessment, but CBSE is not officially conducting two terms exams. But as per the guidelines of NEP 2020, CBSE is preparing to start first and second term exams. Currently CBSE will follow the same pattern of annual examination in the session of 2024 and 25, but after completing it, CBSE will start first term and 2nd term exams from the session of 2026 and 27. So students will get more flexibility to study and achieve good marks.

National education policy is implemented by CBSE and other educational boards in the country where the CBSE is continuously working to follow all the provisions and implement them in schools.
