Chardham Yatra 2025: Devotees travel to four holy temples in Uttarakhand which is famous all over the world and named as Yamunotri temple, Gangotri temple, Kedarnath temple, and Badrinath temple as part of the annual Chardham Yatra India. Locations Close to Each Dham
1. Yamunotri Dham: The first place is Surya Kund, a hot spring close to the temple that is perfect for preparing rice as a prasad (gift) to the god. The second is the Diviyasila before entering Yamnotri Temple. The worshipper prays at Dev Shila, the revered stone pillar, and then Karsali, known for his historic Shani Dev temple. This place is the residence of Goddess Yamuna.
2. Gangotri Dham: The first place is Baghirath Silla, who takes Ganges to Earth. King Bhagirath is said to have meditated on this rock. Another place is Pandava Gufa. The Pandavas in this cave are said to have been meditated in the Himalayas while traveling and next is Harsil, a charming town with apple orchards and tranquil surroundings.
3. Kedarnath Dham: The first place is Vasuki Tal, an ideal destination for hikers this high-altitude lake is encircled by magnificent mountains. The second place is Shankaracharya Samadhi: Adi Shankaracharya’s ultimate resting place, Shankaracharya Samadhi, is next to the temple and next one is the Gauri Temple and a hot spring can be found in Gaurikund, the beginning of the Kedarnath hike.
4. Badrinath Dham: The first is Tapt Kund. Before entering the temple, pilgrims reach this sacred plunge in this naturally occurring hot spring. This is considered a therapeutic benefit. Mana Village is second place and is full of legendary importance. This is the last Indian settlement in front of the Tibetan border, and the other is Vasudara Falls, a stunning waterfall considered the last resting place for Pandavas.

Registration offline via centers
Ten days prior to the start of the Chardham Yatra, registration centers will be established along the yatra routes in Haridwar and Rishikesh. These centres are open all day to ensure that guests are free to close the registration process. Private car registration is required
This time, registration will be required for all private vehicles traveling from other states during the yatra. In addition, the car owners will need to complete an online declaration form. The passengers of non-registered out-of-town automobiles will have to continue their journey in local commercial vehicles after the vehicles are parked in Rishikesh. Three locations along the yatra route will be used for vehicle checks after entering Uttarakhand. Documents pertaining to the individuals’ Aadhar cards, vehicles, and registration will be examined throughout this process. The Ideal Time to Complete the Chardham Yatra
May through June and September through October are the best times to go on the Chardham Yatra. The weather is fairly consistent during these months, making travel and pilgrimage enjoyable. Since landslides and difficult travel conditions can result from severe rains, the monsoon season (July to August) is usually avoided. Avoid going between November and April because of the excessive snowfall, which makes the temples inaccessible.
