CTET New Exam Date 2024: Central Board of Secondary Education has released the revised date of the CTET December examination 2024. Now candidates who are going to appear in the CTET paper 1 and Paper 2 have to check the new dates of December examination accordingly and after that can prepare for their examination.

CTET New Exam Date 2024
Central Teacher Eligibility Test is the first step to become a teacher in India which is conducted by the CBSE twice in a year. Currently the authority is inviting eligible candidates to submit CTET December application form 2024 before the red line of 16th October 2024. However earlier, authority released the Information Bulletin on the portal and decided to conduct the examination on 1st December 2024.
But now they have revised the schedule of the examination from 1st December to 15 December 2024. So candidates get approximately 15 days extra to prepare for their examination of paper 1 and Paper 2. However you can submit the CTET 2024 application form for the examination after 17th September 2024 on the portal by providing your all the important details and submitting the application fees through online mode.
CTET December New Exam Timing 2024
CBSE will conduct CTET examination of paper 1 and Paper 2 on 15 December at various examination centres across the country. Where will be two shifts of the examination where the morning shift is prepared for candidates of paper 2 and the evening shift is prepared for the candidates of paper 1. The morning shift examination will be conducted between 9:30 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. and after that the second shift will be conducted between 2:30 p.m. to 5:00 p.m. on the scheduled date.
However it is the examination timing, but candidates have to get entry in the examination hall before 1 hour of the examination. So if you are going to appear in paper 2 then you should reach at the examination hall till 8:30 a.m. and candidates of paper 1 should reach at the examination centre till 1:30 p.m. However the examination is scheduled on the 15th December 2024, but CBSE has mentioned that, if the number of applicants increased in a city then authority can also conduct in the examination on 14th December too.
Eligibility for CTET Exam 2024
- All the Indians can apply for CTET December Exam 2024.
- It is important to complete 12th class from any recognize board in any stream in India with at least 50% marks.
- If you are applying for the post of PRT or appearing in the paper one examination then you should complete diploma in elementary education after 12th class.
- However candidates who want to appear in the paper 2 examination have for complete graduation in any stream and B.Ed from any recognised board in the country.
- Candidates are required to pay the online application fees of Rs 1000 for appearing in a one examination, however if you are going to apply for both paper 1 Paper 2 then have to pay 1200 rupees only.
- Candidates belong to SC ST category and PWD category will be charged 500 rupees for a single paper and 600 for both examinations.
How to Apply for CTET 2024 December Exam?
The application procedure for CTET December examination has been started from 17 September 2024 and candidates can submit the application form before 16th October 2024. If you have all the sufficient eligibility then you can follow the following step by step procedure to submit the CTET application form 2024 using your device:
- Visit to the official website of CTET or you can click on this link to visit directly https://ctet.nic.in/
- Now you have to scroll the website and click on the apply for CTET December 2024 under the candidate activity section.
- After that you will reach on the new page where you have to firstly register yourself on the portal where you need to provide your all the basic details including name of the candidate, gender, parents details, date of birth etc, and provide your contact information
- After that you will receive OTP on your mobile number and email ID for verification and have to create a password for your login
- Now you need to submit the Ctet new exam 2024 registration and will receive application number on your email id in mobile number to login on the portal.
- Provide your educational information including academic qualification and the professional qualification, marks, percentage, college name etc
- After that you will reach on the document page where you need to upload your passport size recent photograph and signature where the size of the photograph should be under 100 KB in photograph should be under 30 KB
