The national means cum merit scholarship program is the Central Government sponsor scheme in India which provide monthly scholarship to all the selected students throughout the country according to the state wise quota of the student. The government is going to select total 832 students in the country for the session of 2024-25 where selected candidates will get Rs 1000 per month scholarship from the government. Students studying in class 8 are eligible to apply to appear in the NMMS scholarship examination in Himachal Pradesh where they will receive the scholarship between class 9 to 12, only if they are selected for scholarship.

Himachal Pradesh NMMS Scholarship 2024-25
The application procedure for National means cum merit scholarship in Himachal Pradesh has started from 1st 2024 and the last date to apply in this scheme is 31st 2024. All the Eligible students can apply for Scholarship from the official website of SCERT Himachal Pradesh. Authority will conduct Himachal Pradesh NMMS scholarship examination 2024-25 on 10th November 2024 at different 65 examination centres across the state. However students can download the HP NMMS Admit Card 2024 of the examination after 30 September 2024 from the official website and can appear in the examination accordingly.
HP NMMS Eligibility 2024
- All the students of Himachal Pradesh are eligible to apply for NMMS scholarship 2024-25
- The student should study in any government school in the Himachal Pradesh state. However if you are studying in any 95% government added to school in the state then can also apply for the scheme.
- The student should complete 7th class with at least 55% marks in last year in the session of 2023 and 24
- The student should currently studying in 8th class in any above mentioned school.
- The scholarship payment will be provided from class 9th to class 12th but it is important for the student to pass the 9th class and the 11th class in their first attempt to continue the scholarship in 10th and 12th class.
- However it is also important for the student to achieve more than 60% marks in 10th class to continue the scheme for 11th and 12th.
- The annual family income of the parents of the student should not be more than 3.5 lakh.

HP NMMS Scholarship Apply Online
All the students are required to fill the HP NMMS application form through online mode for Himachal Pradesh NMMS scholarship 2024-25:

- Now you will reach on the new page where you have to click on the link of application for NMMS examination on the screen, after that select the student registration link on the new page
- Now you can see an online HP NMMS Online form 2024-25 on the screen where you have to provide name of the student, parents name, date of birth of the student, address information etc
- After that provide the educational details of the student on the screen and upload the relevant documents
Now you will receive verification code on your mobile number and email id and have to click on the submit link after providing all the information in this application form. Once you submit the NMMS application, you need to inform your school administration about your activity so they will easily verify your details on the system before the deadline of 31st.
Himachal Pradesh NMMS Exam 2024 – 10 November
The examination of national means cum merit scholarship scheme 2024 is scheduled on 10th November 2024 at 65 examination centre in the state. The Eligible student have to appear in the examination hall with the government ID card and admit card of the examination.
After that they have to appear in the mental ability test in the first shift of the exam where total 90 questions will be asked in 90 minutes and after that they have to appear in the scholastic aptitude test in the second shift where they need to Mark 90 questions in 90 minutes.
Students have to select the correct option in the OMR sheet and submit it to the examination centre accordingly, so student who achieve more than 40% marks in this examination will be selected for the scholarship for next 4 years where they will get 1000 rupees per month accordingly.
