  • Deductions from your benefit for reasons like debt repayment or rent can keep you eligible.

How to Apply for DWP £900 Cost of Living Payment?

  • Individuals receiving specific benefits or tax credits may qualify for up to five payments aimed at alleviating living costs. 
  • No action is required on your part to initiate the application process; eligibility will be assessed automatically. 
  • If deemed eligible, payments will be disbursed in the same manner as regular benefit or tax credit payments
  • These payments will be issued separately and are not subject to taxes, nor will they impact your existing benefits or tax credits. 
  • If you get a Cost of Living Payment but are later deemed ineligible, you might need to return the funds.
