GATE 2025 Registration Date & Exam Date (Out): Check Eligibility, Fee and How to Fill GATE Form

Indian Institute of Technology Roorkee School to organize GATE 2025. They have already released the GATE 2025 online registration dates on the official website. The candidates who have passed or are appearing in the final year of the graduation with engineering, science, commerce, humanity, and the arts stream are eligible to appear in the GATE Exam 2025.

From August 24th to September 26th, 2024 the GATE 2025 registration process will be open. As per the notification exam is going to be conducted on the 1st, 2nd, 15th, and 16th of February 2025. The last date to submit GATE 2025 registration form without late fee is September 26, 2024. However, applications along with late fees will be accepted till October 7, 2024. Direct link to the GATE registration portal will be provided as and when available.

GATE 2025 Notification PDF (Out)

The official website for GATE 2025 has been launched by IIT Roorkee. The GATE Exam Notification 2025 PDF or information brochure is going to be released by the Indian Institute of Technology, Roorkee, in the month of August 2024. In the GATE browser, all the important information, including the eligibility exam pattern, will be released along with a GATE Exam notification PDF.

GATE 2025 Schedule

The online registration tickets for Gate 2025 have been released by the Indian Institute of Technology, Roorkee. All the interested and eligible candidates can submit their applications starting on August 24, 2024. The Gate registration link will remain active until September 26, 2024.

GATE 2025 Application Form

The application form for Gate 2025 will be available on the official website of the Indian Institute of Technology, Roorkee, starting August 24, 2024. All the interested candidates are advised to fill out their application forms before September 26, 2024, in order to avoid any last-minute rush.  GATE 2025 online application link is going to activate soon. Applicants are required to follow the below listed steps to fill GATE 2025 application form.

Step 1: Applicants need to register using their valid and active email ID and phone number to receive the registration number and password for the portal.

Step 2: Using your registration ID and password, applicants can login to fill GATE 2025 application form by providing personal, educational and other relevant details.

Step 3: While filling the GATE Online form 2025, applicants need to upload the scanned photograph and signature.

Step 4: To complete the registration successfully, it is mandatory to pay the GATE 2025 application fee through any online mode.

Application Fee

After filling out the application form for GATE 2025, the candidates will have to pay the required application fees; otherwise, their application form will not be accepted.

GATE 2025 Eligibility Criteria 

The interested candidate who wants to fill out the application form for Gate 2025 can apply only if they meet the eligibility criteria given below: –

• Applicants must be citizens of India. Also, NRIs who fulfill the eligibility conditions can also appear for IIT Gate 2025.
• Candidates must have completed or are in the final year or pre-final year of their bachelor’s degree. 
• All those candidates who have a higher degree are also eligible to appear in the GATE 2025 examination.

Age Limit 

In the GATE 2025 exam, there is no age limit for appearing. All those candidates who want admission to a master’s degree have to qualify for the GATE exam.

GATE Exam Pattern 2025

The GATE 2025 exam is going to be conducted in online mode. A total of 65 questions will be asked in the GATE online exam for 100 marks. One has to complete all these questions in 3 hours. The exam pattern for candidates for the GATE exam is given below:

• Mode of exam: online computer-based test 
• Paper: 30 subjects 
• Types of questions: multiple-choice questions along with multiple-select questions and numerical-answer type questions. 
• Duration of the exam: 3 hours
• Maximum marks: 100 marks
• Number of questions asked: 65

GATE Syllabus

From this year onward, the GATE exam is going to have 30 subjects. The candidate is eligible to appear only on one paper. If you want to get the qualifying marks and gate 2025, then you should be fully aware of the detailed syllabus of your respected subject. 

Gate 2025 cut-off marks 

The cut-off marks for the GATE 2025 exam will be released after the exam is conducted in online mode. Till then, the candidate has to look at the previous year’s cut-off marks and check for the highest marks. 

Exam Centers for GATE 2025 

IIT Roorkee has released the complete list of GATE 2025 exam centers on the official website. The GATE exam centers include the names of the cities where the Gate 2025 exam is going to be held. Candidates can check the complete list of exam centers for GATE 20–25 online.

These centers are divided into eight zones. There are around 176 exam centers for GATE 20–25. Candidates have to select three GATE exam centers according to their references while filling out their application form. The exam center will be allotted by the exam authorities on the basis of first come, first served.

• IISc Bangalore: 26 exam cities 
• IIT Bombay: 30 exam cities
• IIT Delhi: 17 exam cities
• IIT Guwahati: 18 exam cities
