Revise MSP in the state

The Central Government recently raised the Minimum Support Prices (MSP) for key Rabi crops for the 2025-26 season, aiming to boost farmers’ incomes across India. Wheat now has an MSP of Rs. 2,425 per quintal, up by Rs. 150, while mustard rose by Rs. 300 to Rs. 5,950 per quintal. Chickpeas saw a Rs. 210 increase to Rs. 5,650 per quintal, and lentils (masur) are now priced at Rs. 6,700 per quintal, with a Rs. 275 hike. These changes promise better returns for farmers, especially helpful as the festive season begins. The new MSP rates not only aim to improve earnings for farmers but also strengthen the agricultural sector, providing much-needed support for the coming harvest season.

DA Hike for Central Government Employees 

The central government has revised Dearness allowance for Government employees across the country who are serving for Central Government. Employees were receiving 50% of basic pay as DA now they will get 53% after implement of 3% DA. The announcement was made after the latest meeting in cabinet and last week of October 2024. So beneficiary will get their increases salary. The 53% DA will be applicable for salary from first July 2024. So employees will not only get the increased salary in October month but will also get pending arrears also according to the calculation.

State Employee Salary and Pension Updates

Recently the state government of Maharashtra has announced to release extra payment to the beneficiaries of Mukhyamantri Majhi Ladki Bahin Yojana. Usually the government is providing monthly payment of 1500 to all the beneficiaries. beneficiaries will get their October as well as November payment in this month accordingly. Apart from this 2500 rupees will also provided additionally. So females in the state who are already registered with Mukhyamantri Majhi Ladki Bahin Yojana will get approximately 5500 rupees in the salary.
