There are different programs running under the scheme for international students including certificate courses, diploma courses, UG and PG courses in Hindi language. International Hindi Teaching Course admission 2024-25
Kendriya Hindi Sansthan is very famous institution in India to promote Hindi language and promoting the language among international students also through the promotion of Hindi abroad scheme. Under the scheme, Sansthan is providing admission to the students who are either selected under the cultural exchange program, student selected for promotion of Hindi abroad scheme and students who are referred or sponsored by universities on different countries across the world.
So, students who will get admission in this program will be able to take admission for the session of 2024-25. The classes of international Hindi teaching courses are going to start from first august 2024 and will continue till the 30 April 2025. After that, the Sansthan will start new academic session of 2025 and 26 and will provide admission again to the eligible candidates.

There are total 4 courses under the program for international students where you can get admission in anyone according to your educational background and eligibility criteria.

- CERTIFICATE IN HINDI LANGUAGE PROFICIENCY : the course will include Oral Expression and Written Expression of Hindi language Language, Structures and Usages, Text (Prose and Poetry) Foundation course and Yog Vigyan. The duration of the course will be approximately 1 year or 6 month
- DIPLOMA IN HINDI LANGUAGE PROFICIENCY : this diploma will be completed into 1 year or more according to the syllabus which will include Oral Expression and Written Expression, Language Structures and Usages of Hindi, Text (Prose and Poetry), History of Hindi Literature: An Introduction, Foundation course – Yog Vigyan
- ADVANCED DIPLOMA IN HINDI LANGUAGE PROFICIENCY : the duration of advanced diploma course in India is between 1 year to 2 years where you will get the information of All the above mention syllabus in diploma course in detail
- POST GRADUATE DIPLOMA IN HINDI : this course is designed only for those students who have completed either advanced diploma or UG in Hindi language. It will include comprehensive topics of Hindi language including General Linguistics and Hindi Language, Text (Prose and Poetry); 3. Indian Culture. Optional :- (a) Art of Communication, (b) Translation : Theory and Practice, (c) Teaching Material Production : Theory and Practice, Optional (a) Premchand : A Special Study, (b) Maithili Sharan Gupta : A Special Study, Foundation course – Yog Vigyan
Apart from this candidates can also get the opportunity to do research work in affiliated and associated subjects related to the Hindi including indology, vocal tabla and dance etc.
Eligibility criteria
Candidates who is to come India for getting admission in international Hindi teaching courses have to check the following eligibility criteria as only the following candidates are eligible of fulfill eligibility:
- Only international students are eligible to apply in such courses in India, so candidates who belongs to India and living in abroad are not eligible to get admission through this procedure.
- Candidate should complete 12th class from any recognised board across the world or complete 12th years of schooling accordingly.
- The individual should have sufficient knowledge of English and should able to understand Hindi. However if you know only English language then can also apply.
- The individual should have a valid email ID
- Student should have a passport
- The minimum age of the candidate should be at least 21 years old however it should not be more than 35 years old during submitting the application form.

- Government approve photo identity card
- Passport of the candidate
- Medical fitness certificate
- Letter of recommendation
- Duly filled application form
- Recent passport size photograph.
- 12th class marksheet and certificate
- English proficiency certificate
Application procedure
Candidates can submit the application form to get admission in Hindi sangathan for international Hindi teaching courses session 2024 and 25 through the Indian embassy or High commission in their respective country. However you have to download the application form by following this procedure:
- First of all you have to visit to the official website of Hindi sangathan or can directly visit Indian embassy in your country website.
- After that you will see the educational section in this website and will find the PDF of international Hindi teaching course application form 2024 and 25
- Once you click on the link the PDF will automatically download in the device and you have to type your information in this application form in only capital letters
However, the application form is available in PDF form, but you have to type only your details in this application form accordingly and after that take a printout of it. Along with the application form, you will able to see the physical fitness certificate and recommendation certificate and you have to download all of them where the fitness certificate will be filled by the qualified doctor.
The recommendation certificate will require two recommendations for the candidates where the first recommendation will be submitted through first or second secretary of Indian embassy in your country. The second recommendation will be submitted by the Hindi professor or any other linguistic professor in your country University. After day to have to submit your application form to the high commission in your country so they will send it to the concerned authority accordingly.
Financial support from the government
The student who get admission in this course through promotion of Hindi abroad scheme will get the following financial assistance from the government:
- Rconomy class airfare to and from their country.
- They receive a monthly scholarship of INR 9000 from August 1st or from their arrival until April 30th.
- A books grant of INR 1000 per year is provided.
- The institute will provide car transport from Delhi Airport to the Central Institute of Hindi in Agra and back, if informed by the embassies.
- Any travel expenses incurred by the student from Delhi Airport to Agra will be reimbursed by the institute.
- Hospital facilities are provided as per institute rules.
- Male and female doctors are available daily for students without any consultation fee.
However if candidates take leave for more than 10 days then 50 rs per day will be deducted from the scholarship amount. But they are required to complete at least 80% attendance in two sessions otherwise they have to return the scholarship amount accordingly to the institute.
Admission Fees
- Candidates are required to pay 500 Indian Rupees of examination fees and 200 INR for admission fees. So total 700 RS have to send to the Hindi Sansthan, Agra through bank draft or cash to the account of institutetion
- 300 INR per month have to pay by candidate for hostel maintenance fees.
- 1000 INR one time fees have to submit in the institution’s library which will be refunded to the students while completing the course.
Hostel and Mess Facilities
Hostels
- Separate hostels for boys and girls
- Students must follow hostel rules, which will be provided during admission
- Breaking rules can lead to expulsion and additional actions
- Students can participate in cultural events and are encouraged to bring their national dress
Mess Facility
- Compulsory for hostel students to join the mess
- No private cooking allowed in rooms
- Only Vegetarian food, mostly Indian cuisine
- Monthly mess expenses: ₹3500-₹4000 (approximately)
- Expenses will be deducted from students’ scholarships
