The India Post Office released the GDS 1st Merit List on August 19, 2024. Now candidates whose names weren’t in the merit list are waiting for the GDS 2nd Merit List. The Department of Post, India will publish the second Merit List on the official website, https://indiapostgdsonline.gov.in/. It is expected that the India Post GDS 2nd Merit List might be published in 1st week of September 2024.

GDS result for Jharkhand postal circle are basically published as the selection list of the candidates. However, the names of the candidates are not printed in the merit list in the order of merit. The Gramin Dak Sevak 2nd Merit List also indicates marks obtained by the candidates after the analysis of their application and marks in the qualifying exam
The Indian post office department is inviting eligible candidates for the post of Gramin Dak Sevak GDS including branch postmaster and assistant branch postmaster in different states and regions. There are a total of 44228 vacancies across the country and approximately 2104 candidates will be recruited for Jharkhand state only.

Jharkhand GDS Result 2024: Merit List
As we mentioned earlier, the selection of the Indian Post GDS posts will be based on the generated merit list, which is prepared according to your class X obtained marks and reservation policies. The candidates in Jharkhand state will be recorded in two posts in the Indian post office including branch manager and GDS where the branch manager will get a monthly salary of 12000 per month and will go up to 29380 rupees per month. However, candidates for the post of GDS will get a monthly salary between 10000 rupees to 24470 rupees per month. The post office has divided Jharkhand state in 11 circles including:

GDS Vacancy Eligibility 2024
- Only candidates who are living in Jharkhand State Eligibility to apply for Indian post office GDS recruitment for Jharkhand circle
- The minimum age of the candidates should be at least 18 years old but the maximum age should not be more than 40 years while submitting the Gramin Dak Sevak application form. Apart from this candidates belong to depend category including SC ST, OBC, PWD will get age relaxation from 3 years to 10 years accordingly.
- The candidate should have completed 10th class from any recognized board in India with mathematics and English.
- The candidate should have studied local language of their circle for up to 10th class at least.
