New Education Policy: SCERT Chhattisgarh is preparing new books for class 1 to 3 and class 6 for the fission of 2025 and 26. Students studying in the state board of Chhattisgarh will study new books in upcoming session. Teachers in Chhattisgarh state are currently getting training from NCERT and engaged in preparation of new books for class 1 to 3 and class 6. The state government is implementing New Education Policy 2020 in all the schools in the state and improvising the quality of education with inclusion of work experience with academic knowledge.
New books for class 1 to 3 and 6
The secretary of school education of Chhattisgarh state informed that NCERT is conducting training sessions with SCERT Chhattisgarh where teachers teaching in Chhattisgarh Schools are participating and learning how to improve textbooks of the schools including class 1, 2, 3 and 6. Currently students are studying the regular text books but students who will get admission in the session of 2025 and 26 will get education from new text book.
After completing the training session with NCERT, the SCERT Chhattisgarh will start preparation to revise and restructure new textbook from class 1 to class 3 and class 6. However, the agency will revise all the book from class 1 to class 12 in the state but at initial stage, they will introduce total 24 books from class 1 to 3 and class 6th.
Practical approach will be included
International education policy is emphasizing on the importance of practical and experience education for students in schools. The State authority will also follow recommendations of national education policy and will prepare new books with inclusion of practical approaches.
Students will not only get academic education but will also get important life skills to earn after completing the schooling. It will help students to prepare for their overall life and will provide the academic education with the work experience so students can relate the education in their daily life and can use it accordingly.

Deadline to introduce new text books
The school education department of Chhattisgarh is expected to introduce new textbook of state board for the session of 2025 and 26 till January 2025. However teachers are currently getting training and seminars from NCERT experts to prepare new text books. Professors in NCERT, subject expert, national education policy stakeholders and other experts are currently taking seminars of the teachers.
New books for 11th and 12th class
Student who will study in first to class 3 and class 6th in the state will be introduced a new text book. However other students will currently study the same textbook of the Chhattisgarh SCERT in the session of 2025 and 26. But the secretary told that the the department will introduce NCERT textbook for students who are studying in class 11th and 12th in the state. However currently the students are studying SCERT books, but the administration will start NCERT books for these students to improve the quality of education and standard of the education among students in Chhattisgarh.

NCERT has prepared new text book for different classes
NCERT has already prepared new textbook for students from class 1 to 3 and class 6 for the session of 2024 and 25. And the authority is working on other classes also. They have already reduced the additional syllabus from NCERT class 1 to class 12 books. However, NCERT is focusing to implement the new structure of the education introduced in new education policy of 5 + 3 + 3 + 4.
Where the foundation classes are focus to be taught in the mother tongue of the student. So the state government of Chhattisgarh is also focusing to start new implementation from this classes. They are currently working on 20 different local languages in the state in Chhattisgarh and will include the regional culture in textbook to engage students more towards academic education.
