1. Candidates must hold the nationality of India.
2. Candidates should have the residence of Odisha.
3. Higher Secondary with at least 50% marks and 2 years of diploma in primary education or
4. Higher Secondary with at least 45% of marks and 2 years of diploma in elementary education in according of the NCTE or
5. Higher Secondary with at least 50% marks and 4 years of a bachelor of primary education or
6. Higher Secondary with at least 50% marks and 2 years of diploma in primary education or
7. Graduation with at least 50% marks and one year of undergraduate in education.
8. Graduation with at least 45% marks and one year of bachelor in education in accordance with the NCTE regulation issued from time to time in this respects.
9. Graduation with one year of B.Ed in specialized education.
10. Higher Secondary with at least 50% marks and 4 years bachelor in primary education or
11. Higher Secondary with at least 50% marks and 4 years B.A / B.Sc / B.Ed etc.
