The Ministry of Railway is providing financial aid to the wards and spouse of Railway Protection Force employees from 2009. Total 150 candidates are selected in this program each year. Candidates are invited from all 17 zones of Indian Railway where 75 seats are reserved for female and 75 seats are reserved for male candidates. - Only Indian students are eligible to apply for the program of PMSS RPF scholarship 2024.
- The dependent wards of Ex/Serving RPF/RPSF personnel and widows are eligible to apply under the scheme.
- Candidates can only apply for the PMSS RPF Scholarship program to pursue graduation or post graduation courses where they need to achieve at least 60% marks in their previous class of either 12th class or graduation according to the course where they are applying.
- Two members in a family can only apply for the PMSS RPF Scholarship program
- Candidates who are you studying in full time courses in any recognised institute for university with AISHE can only apply for the program.
- A candidate can only apply for PMSS RPF Scholarship to complete any one course.

Candidates are required to upload PDF of the following documents on national scholarship portal to submit the application form of PMSS RPF scholarship scheme 2024:
- Aadhar Card of the student
- Recent passport size colour photograph
- Admission letter in college
- 10th class marksheet and certificate
- 12th Class marksheet and certificate
- If you have graduation, diploma or certificate then should also upload their copy on the portal.

How to apply for PMSS RPF Scholarship 2024-25?
Candidates are required to follow the following step by step procedure to submit the application form of prime minister scholarship scheme of RPF. However the deadline is 31 November, but you are suggested to submit PMSS RPF Scholarship application form before waiting for the last date:
- Visit to the official website of national scholarship portal. you can click on this link to visit directly https://scholarships.gov.in/
- Now you will reach on the new page where you have to click on the student section
- Candidates have to firstly create OTR registration if they are using the website for first time and after that go to the login section where they need to use user id and password to login on the dashboard.
- After that we will reach on the new page where you have to click on the scholarship section and find PMSS RPF scholarship under the Ministry of Railway section.
- The new application form will open your screen where you have to provide your basic information, education details, address details, contact information, marks details, parents employment details etc
- Now you will be asked to upload all the documents in sequence

PMSS RPF Scholarship details
The authority will provide 2500 per month to the eligible male candidate and 3000 per month will be provided to female students. The duration of the scholarship will be according to the duration of the course where you can apply for maximum 5 years scholarship in this PMSS RPF Scholarship program. So once your scholarship approved by the authority, you will get your monthly payment in your bank account directly.
