5.7% Increment in the Child Support Grant

The child support grant is scheduled to increase by 5.7% from the regular payouts of the program where individuals will see R 30 increment in the payment. Beneficiaries will get the March payment as per the previous payouts of R 530, but the new payment in April will include the R 30 increment in the payment and beneficiaries will get a maximum amount of R 560 in their bank account.
When will the Payment Release
There is no fixed date schedule for the payos of child support grant, but SASSA releases the monthly benefits of the program on the first week of each month. The March payment has already been released in the first week of the March while the payment for April month is scheduled on the 5th April 2025. Most of the beneficiaries will get the payment on the schedule date, but if the amount did not reflect in your account then you need to wait for at least three working days and after that can file the complaint to the authority.
