The chief minister of Odisha Government Mohan Charan Manjhi announced to release 50000 financial assistance for all the females in the state after getting elected. 10000 rupees will be distributed in the Subhadra Yojana

The chief secretary Manoj Ahuja conducted a meeting to execute the Odisha Subhadra Yojana 2024. During the meeting, authority have decided to provide 10000 rupees financial assistance to all the beneficiaries female in the country which will be transferred in the bank account of the beneficiaries directly.

The Subhadra Scheme payment will be provided into two installment of 5000 rupees. However the ruling party promised to provide if 50000 financial assistance to the female in the state under the Subhadra Yojana, but at the initial stage of the scheme, they are starting with a minimum payment of 10000 for a financial year of 2024 -25. 

Odisha Subhadra Yojana is a financial assistant scheme in the state of Odisha which was proposed by the ruling party BJP during their election campaign in 2024, now BJP is under the charge and executing the scheme where they are expected to fulfil their promise of releasing 50000 rupees financial assistance to the females in the state for their welfare.

More than 79 lakh females get the Subhadra Yojana payment

The department of child and women welfare in Odisha have prepared a provisional list of the females who will be selected in the scheme of Subhadra Yojana where total 79,14,491 female are included. The list is prepared to only know about the data of all the eligible females in the state and after that all the beneficiaries will be included in the scheme to provide 10000 rupees in a year. All the above females in the list are selected from approximately 65.25 lakh families in the state.

The list of the families are prepared from the ration card beneficiaries in the state. There are total 97,54,003 females registered with ration card service in the state. However the authority have prepared a list of the females whose family members are not engaged in any government job, do not have four wheelers, and other criterias.

So as per the criteria there are 79.14 lakh female eligible to receive such payments in the scheme. However it is only the provisional list of the beneficiaries which have not been published for public, but will soon release it on the official website of women and child welfare department of Odisha state 

Subhadra Yojana Eligibility 2024

  • All the citizens of India who are resident of Odisha state are eligible to apply in the scheme 
  • Only females in the state are eligible to get the benefit of financial assistance 
  • The female aged between 21 years to 60 years old can apply under Subhadra Yojana 2024 
  • At the initial stage, only married female are eligible to get the benefit of the scheme. 
  • The family member or the applicant should not be member of parliament or legislative assembly 
  • The family member of the applicant or the applicant should not be a government employee in state or central government 
  • The individual should not have land for more than 5 acre 
  • Individual who have four wheeler in the state are not eligible to apply for the scheme 
  • The scheme will execute by following one family one beneficiary scheme where only one female in a family can apply for financial assistance. 
  • The bank account of the beneficiary should be linked with Aadhar card.

How to Apply for Subhadra Yojana?

The Government of Odisha have not started to accept application forms for Subhadra Yojana in the state yet, but ordered to the department of women and child welfare in the state to prepare guidelines for the scheme as soon and release it till 17 September 2024.

After that authority will start an online portal for the beneficiaries and females who meet all the eligibility criteria can apply for the scheme through online mode. As government is promoting online transaction and digitalisation in the state especially among females, so they will encourage female to complete their KYC through online mode for the scheme.
