3% increment in the program
The Government of Canada has announced to implement the child care plan where they were supposed to create 250000 new affordable species in different locations in Canada. During the implementation program in 2021 they prepared a budget of $30 billion and distributed the payment to all the participating provinces and territories. But after completing approximately 5 years and presenting the progress report of the program, the authority finds that the program is working with very slow progress.
The only created new 150000 child care special instead of 250000. Program was started for 5 years in 2025 so it will end in 2026. So after completing the 5 years, the government will revise the program from 2027 to 2031. So the new announcement will be implemented from 2027 onwards.
