UP NMMS Scholarship 2025 Apply Online: Uttar Pradesh government has extended the deadline to submit UP NMMS Application form till 20 September 2025. All the eligible students in the state can participate in this scholarship examination 2025 and can claim the 1000 per month scholarship for the upcoming 4 years. National Means cum Merit Scholarship program is inviting students from UP to apply in this scholarship examination for the session of 2025. The application forms was started from 5th august 2024 and the deadline was decided till 5th September 2024. However, the examination authority has extended the date from 5th September to 20 September 2024. Once the application procedure completed, the SCERT UP will conduct the UP NMMS Exam 2025 on 10th November 2024 at different centres across the state.
UP NMMS Scholarship 2025 Amount
Central government provides 1000 Rs per month or 12000 rs annually to all the qualified students. The scholarship starts from entering in class 9th and ends in class 12th. If a student qualifies in this examination then he will receive the amount from class 9 to 12 continuously without any other examination or qualification round. However it is important to pass in each class without any compartment to receive these payments till 12th.

UP NMMS Scholarship Eligibility
- Only Indian students who are residents of UP state are eligible to apply in UP NMMS 2025.
- Students who are studying in government schools in UP including state govt, or central government can apply in this scheme. However if you are studying in any 90% government funded school in the state than can also get the scholarship payment
- The student should complete class 7th in the session of 2023 and 24 with at least 55% percent marks, however SC ST students can get relaxation of 5% to apply
- The student should be studying in only class 8th (currently) and going to appear in the 8th class examination in 2025.
- The annual family income of the parents should be less than 350000
- If you are already getting the benefit of any other scholarship scheme in the state then your application will not be verified by the authority.

UP NMMS Exam 2025
The government will provide scholarships only to those students who qualify the eligibility examination which is scheduled on 10th November 2024. Candidates can download the UP NMMS admit card 2024 before one week of the examination or can check the official website after 30 September 2024. Examination is scheduled into two shift and each shift is compulsory for all the students. The UP NMMS Scholarship Exam will start from 8:00 a.m. on 10th November and will go till 11:00 AM.
The shift one will include a Mental ability test of 90 minutes and shift 2 will include Scholastic aptitude test – SAT of 90 minutes. Each question will carry one mark and there will be 90 questions in each shift. Candidates are required to achieve at least 40% marks to qualify in this examination in each shift. For example: More than 36 marks in MAT and SAT. So if you achieve more than the cut off marks in your category then you will get the scholarship amount in the bank account directly after reaching 9th class.
