UP Police Physical Efficiency Test 2025 Details
The physical examination of Uttar Pradesh Police Constable Recruitment will be conducted in two parts:
- Physical Standard Test (PST): In this, height, chest and weight of the candidates will be measured to ensure whether they meet the prescribed physical standards or not.
- Physical Efficiency Test (PET): Under this, the physical abilities of the candidates will be examined. In this, different race distances and time limits have been set for male and female candidates.
UP Police PET Measurements
For Physical Standard Test (PST) :-
Under PST, height, chest and weight of the candidates will be measured. Physical standards are different for different categories.
- Height standards for male candidates
- General, OBC, SC: Minimum 168 cm.
- ST: Minimum 152 cm.
- Height standards for female candidates
- General, OBC, SC: Minimum 160 cm.
- ST: Minimum 147 cm.
- Chest standards for male candidates
- General, OBC, SC: 79 cm without expansion and 84 cm after expansion.
- ST: 77 cm without expansion and 82 cm after expansion.
- Weight standards for female candidates
- The minimum weight for female candidates should be 40 kg.
For Physical Efficiency test (PET) :-
Candidates’ physical fitness will be assessed in PET. Under this, male and female candidates will have to cover different distances.
- Male candidates will have to complete the 4.8 kilometer race in 25 minutes.
- Female candidates will have to complete the 2.4 kilometer race in 14 minutes.
- On the basis of this race, the physical ability of the candidates will be evaluated, and the successful candidates will be selected for the next stage.
