USIEF Fulbright Nehru Fellowship 2025

This fellowship program is prepared for students who have completed graduation in USA and want to continue their higher education to pursue master’s or PHD in india. The program is offering opportunity to visit India for research purpose for the duration of 4 to 9 months. Eligible candidates must be U.S. citizens with at least a bachelor’s degree and can include current master’s or doctoral students or professionals. The fellowship provides a monthly stipend, round-trip airfare, health insurance, and allowances for settling-in, research, and in-country travel.

Applicants need to submit a detailed research proposal, personal statement, letters of recommendation, language proficiency report, and transcripts. Selection is based on the project’s quality, feasibility, and the applicant’s qualifications and potential for leadership. The program supports a variety of fields, including social sciences, humanities, sciences, and the arts, encouraging collaboration with Indian institutions. • Now you will reach on the new page where you have to click on the application link so you will be redirected on the new page 

• Now you are required to complete your registration on the portal by providing name of the candidate, email id and date of birth 
• After that you will receive OTP for verification 
• Now you have to create user id and password according to the availability and click on the submit link 
• Now you have to again login on the portal and fill the application form 
• Provide your personal information, contact details, educational information, subject, University details etc
• After that you will require to upload all the documents in the application form and click on the submit link so your application form will be successfully submitted. 

Fulbright-Nehru Academic and Professional Excellence Fellowship 2025

Us students who want to participate in research program or want to teach students in India or want to do both research and teaching can participate in this fellowship program before the deadline of 16th September 2024. The area of study in this fellowship program is very wide where you can research in agriculture science, chemistry, computer science, Earth science, public health, sociology, public policy etc. there are total 40 seats in this scholarship program. The program will start from 1st July 2025 and will go up to 31 July 2026. However, candidates have to complete all the given activities before the deadline of 31 August 2027. 

USIEF Fulbright Nehru Fellowship 2025 Eligibility

• Only US citizens are eligible to apply for this fellowship program 
• If you have an invitation letter from Indian colleges or university then it will increase your chances to be selected 
• Candidates are not required to compile the language efficiency in India and English language will sufficient 
• You need to fill the application form before the deadline of 16th September 2024

Fulbright-Nehru Distinguished Scholar 2025

The Fulbright distinguished fellowship is prepared for candidates who wish to research or teach in India. Total 2 candidates will be selected for the session of 2024 where they will get opportunity to participate in 4 month fellowship program. The program will start between 1 July 2025 to 31 March 2026. Selected students will get $6000 per month. 

USIEF Fulbright Nehru Fellowship 2025

The Fulbright-Nehru Student Research Fellowship offers a monthly stipend of $6,000, with support in arranging housing provided by USIEF and the host institution. Grantees receive round-trip international travel and a one-time baggage allowance of $350 for grants up to four months or $600 for longer grants, paid at the end of the grant period upon submission of final reports. A one-time book and research allowance of up to $750 is provided on a reimbursable basis for specific allowable expenses.

Additional dependent benefits include a living allowance of $200 per month per dependent (up to three dependents), travel for up to two dependents, and tuition reimbursement of up to $5,000 per child or $10,000 per family for K-12 dependent children, also on a reimbursement basis.

Fulbright-Nehru International Education Administrators Award 2025

It is a seminar of 2 weeks in India for us candidate which is expected to schedule in the March 2025. Total 10 candidates will get opportunity to join this seminar where they will come India to discuss about the higher education in India and USA. The deadline to participate in this international education administrator award is 16 September 2024. 

USIEF Fulbright Nehru Fellowship 2025 Awards

The Fulbright-Nehru Student Research Fellowship covers round-trip travel, lodging, and a per diem that includes a meal allowance for meals not provided. Return air travel can be arranged to allow for independent travel in India after the seminar. However, dependents cannot accompany the grantee during the seminar, and no additional dependent benefits are offered. The final grant amounts will be determined before the academic year starts and are subject to the availability of funds.

The U.S. Department of State and the Fulbright Commission in the host country reserve the right to change participating countries, the number of awards, and allowances without prior notice.

Fulbright-Kalam Climate Fellowship 2025

Kalam climate fellowship 2025 will include multiple activities such as research and teaching in India where us candidates can participate. Total 10 participants will be selected for this fellowship program. The duration of this fellowship is between 4 month to 9 months which will start after 1st July 2025 and will go upto 31 March 2026. Participants can select Agriculture Engineering Environmental Sciences Environmental Studies Geology Oceanography Public Policy Urban Planning/Studies etc topic for this fellowship program. 

USIEF Fulbright Nehru Fellowship 2025 Benefit of the Program 

The Fulbright-Nehru Student Research Fellowship offers a monthly stipend of $4,000 and assistance in arranging housing. Grantees receive round-trip international travel and a one-time baggage allowance of $350 for grants up to four months or $600 for longer grants, paid at the end of the grant period after submitting final reports. For Flex Fulbright-Kalam Climate Fellowship Awards, grantees receive up to three round-trip tickets and a $350 baggage allowance.

A one-time book and research allowance of up to $750 is provided for grants of six months or less, and up to $1,000 for longer grants. Non-Flex grantees can receive additional benefits for dependents if they accompany the grantee for at least 80% of the grant period, including a $200 monthly allowance per dependent (up to three), travel allowance for up to two dependents, and tuition reimbursement of up to $5,000 per child or $10,000 per family for K-12 children. Flex grantees’ dependents can receive a $200 monthly allowance for up to two dependents but do not get travel or tuition allowances.
